Terms & Conditions of Reservation

1. Scope and Object

These Terms and Conditions govern the booking and use of accommodation services provided by Quintã – Turismo no Douro Lda (hereinafter “Quinta dos Moinhos”), located at Av. José Joaquim Ferreira, n.º 2000, 4515-462 Melres. By making a reservation on our website or partner platforms, the guest fully accepts these conditions.

2. Payments

• Payment Method: Payment for the total amount of the reservation is made in full at the time of booking.
• Platforms and Installment Payments: If the reservation is made through a partner platform or intermediary that offers installment payments (for example, via credit card), the respective conditions, terms, and fees will be defined and managed directly by that platform.

3. Cancellation Policy and No-Show

• Cancellation up to 30 days before Check-in: Cancellations made 30 or more days in advance of the check-in date are entitled to a full refund (100%) of the amount paid.
• Cancellation less than 30 days before Check-in: Cancellations made within 30 days prior to the check-in date are entitled to a 50% refund of the total reservation amount.
• No-Show: In the event of a no-show on the scheduled check-in date (without prior notice and formal cancellation under the terms above), the guest will not be entitled to any refund of the amount paid.

4. Property Damage

• Security Deposit: Quinta dos Moinhos does not charge a security deposit upon booking or check-in.
• Liability for Damage: The guest responsible for the booking assumes financial responsibility for any unreasonable damage caused to the property, furniture, or equipment during the stay.
• Note: Minor accidental damage resulting from normal household use (such as breaking a glass or similar tableware) will not be charged.

5. Event Bookings

• Mandatory Authorization: Holding any event on the property is subject to prior authorization from Quinta dos Moinhos.
• Agreement and Specific Rules: The event will only be formally authorized upon the signing of an agreement between both parties during check-in, as well as payment of the respective event fee.
• General Event Conditions: Event bookings are subject to specific rules, including compliance with a minimum stay, billing based on the maximum capacity of the property, and strict definition of the specific day the event will take place.

6. Check-in and Check-out Times

• Check-in: From 15:00.
• Check-out: Until 11:00.
• Flexibility (Early Check-in / Late Check-out): Subject to calendar availability, guests may enter earlier or leave later at no additional charge, upon prior confirmation with management.

7. Pets

• Pets are very welcome at Quinta dos Moinhos.
• Mandatory Prior Notice: The presence of any pet must be communicated prior to arrival so that the house can be properly equipped with amenities for your pets.
